The Museum welcomes school groups and field trips. We offer a unique educational experience for students of all ages. Your groups will enjoy:

Price includes Link Train Ride and Guided Tour. Allowances may be made for schools on tighter budgets. Field trips require a $60.00 non-refundable security deposit at least two weeks prior to scheduled arrival. Here are some Field Trip "Testimonials." |

Birthday Parties |
|
The Museum invites you to plan your birthday celebration in our nostalgic atmosphere. Amenities include exclusive use of one of our designated Picnic Party Areas consisting of picnic tables under our train shed or Lounge Car (depending on package). Children can enjoy the Museum's exhibits, including the Model Train room. Package #1: Children: $7.00, Adults: $5.00. ($200.00 Minimum.) Package #2: Children: $7.00, Adults: $5.00. Air conditioned Lounge Car: $150.00 ($350.00 Minimum.) We have the room to host multiple parties at the same time and can offer special rates for schools and other special needs - please call for availbility. |

Film Shoots |
|
The Museum's vintage railcars, historic brick and concrete structures, and pinelands provide an excellent array of backdrops for film and video productions. $500.00 half-day, $400.00 second half, $150.00 each additional hour after 3:00 p.m. Large film shoots requiring special use of property and/or operation of equipment are subject to negotiation and generally start at $2,500.00 per day up to 12 hours. Large shoots require current insurance certificates naming the Gold Coast Railroad Museum as an additional insured. Tax will be added to total bill. |

Model/Still Shoots |
|
$400.00 half-day, $300.00 second half, $100.00 each additional hour after 3:00 p.m. Large modeling shoots requiring special use of property and/or operation of equipment are subject to negotiation and generally start at $2,500.00 per day up to 12 hours. Events, Meetings, and Weddings on the Grounds |
|
The Museum's plaza area, main display shed, and several air conditioned lounge cars are available for meetings, weddings, and other events. $100.00 per hour for groups of 50 people or less. Renter must provide all chairs, tables, etc. Area of museum property desired for the service or reception requires clearance with staff or board members in advance. Generally most of our train cars are not available for events with the exception of our new lounge cars (see next section below). Tax will be added to total bill. Large events and/or multi-day events requiring significant use of the grounds, including closing the Museum during the event, must be proposed to the Board of Directors for approval at one of our regular monthly meetings.

Rent a Lounge Car for an Event |
 The Museum recently acquired two lounge cars which are now available for rent including the ACL Observation Bar Lounge #254 and the SAL Coach/Tavern Car #6300. Each of our air-conditioned lounge cars accommodate up to 45 people and are ready for catered events such as business meetings and receptions. The cars rent for $50.00 per hour per car. We require a $60.00 security deposit and a one-week cancellation notice. Tax will be added to total bill. |
